What stands behind the figures
An institution shaped by experience, strengthened by results
Champions Schools has built a growing record of academic achievement, including strong performances in CEP and BEPC examinations, while our students have distinguished themselves in competitions such as the English Challenge Championship.
We have also embraced opportunities to contribute to the wider community, including our participation in initiatives such as the Pink Foundation’s cancer awareness programmes.

“My child didn’t just learn French. She mastered it.”
One of the things that impressed me most was seeing how well my child eventually performed in the French curriculum. What makes it even more remarkable is that she had been learning both English and French from the beginning. By the time she left Champions, her performance in the French programme was outstanding, even compared with students who had been following a French-only curriculum. It showed me that the bilingual system really works.
“The transition to Nigeria was much easier than we expected.”
When our child continued her education in Nigeria, we were initially concerned about how she would perform in the entrance examinations. Those concerns quickly disappeared. She performed exceptionally well, achieving scores as high as 100% in some of her examinations. It was reassuring to see that the education she received at Champions had prepared her to compete confidently in a different academic environment.

When my child first joined Champions, English was not the language he was most comfortable speaking. But with daily interaction with other students, classroom activities and constant exposure to English, we began to see a remarkable transformation. He gradually became more confident and started speaking English naturally. It was one of the changes we appreciated most about his time at the school.

At first, I wondered whether learning both the English and French programmes would be too demanding for my child. But Champions showed us that it could actually become an advantage. The children learn to adapt between two languages and academic systems from an early age. Seeing how confidently they handle both has been one of the most rewarding parts of the experience.

What I appreciate about Champions is that the focus is not only on completing the syllabus. My child developed confidence, communication skills and the ability to adapt. When it was time to continue her studies elsewhere, she was able to walk into a new academic environment and perform exceptionally well. That gave us great confidence in the foundation she received.

The change in my child’s English ability was something we noticed very clearly. Through classroom interaction and constant communication with other students, English gradually became part of everyday life. The confidence grew with it.
